Westgate Veterinary Clinic : 24/7 care for small and large animals across County Louth and County Meath

We’ve been proudly supplying veterinary services to local pets and farm animals since 1986. From day one, our founders William Burgess and John Russell set out to establish a safe environment where every patient and client could feel at ease.

By the time Simon Rath had joined the fold, they had set up an impressive mixed-species practice and a small animal branch where the welfare of animals was the number one priority.  This core ethos has been at play ever since, and today we can provide you with quality veterinary care, a team you can trust and a commitment to evolving with the industry and educating our community on the best practices in small and large animal health care.

Small Animal Services

Our friendly team is proud to offer the highest standards of care at our Westgate branch. Small animal patients can also visit our dedicated Laytown branch, which underwent a complete renovation in 2020 and offers a variety of clinics and surgeries for pets.
